Time out

So this has been a massive block of activity by your friends in ubik.  And now it's done.  ubik. is officially on hiatus-- we're buckling down for practice, writing, and solidifying our as-yet-unrecorded material... because June is going to see us into the studio.

Yup: The World Is A Glorious Biomechanical Nightmare is nearly two years old, and it's about time for ubik to put out a new album. That's the plan for our immediate future... we'll emerge from the cocoon in July.

Sunday night at El Corazon

We know the last post said that we were done playing shows for a while... which was true at the time, and yes: we are taking June off for recording, but Mongoloid Village is coming to town, and there was an opening on the bill.  So, long story short, this Sunday will be our last show for a while.  Period.

Thursday night at the Funhouse

ubik.s coming to the end of a pretty dense block of shows: we're up on Thursday night at the Funhouse, and this is going to be our last show for a bit.  We're playing with BLCKWVS from Germany, Ninth Moon Black from Eugene, and The Ever Changing Sky (from here, like us).  Here's the listing:
